ITS America Members Joined by Highways and Transit Chairman Jimmy Duncan

Over 40 members of ITS America’s Congressional Roundtable visited Capitol Hill for a breakfast with Congressman John “Jimmy” Duncan, Jr. (R-TN), who serves as Chairman of the House T&I Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. The Highways and Transit Subcommittee has jurisdiction over the nation’s highway, transit, highway safety, research and technology programs, and is at the forefront of the debate over passage of a new surface transportation reauthorization bill. Attendees heard from Chairman Duncan about next steps for the reauthorization process and the role of ITS in addressing our nation’s transportation challenges.
