NTRCI works to promote the development and deployment of advanced transportation technologies through research, testing and commercialization for the benefit of the transportation industry and our transportation systems.

Through the Automotive Research Alliance, the Heavy Vehicle Research Center and as a University Transportation Center, NTRCI:

• Creates Connections between researchers and funding organizations interested in transportation issues
• Coordinates and manages research services for federal and state governments and private industry.
• Disseminates knowledge in the form of research reports and news publications
• Initiates and coordinates interdisciplinary research on complex transportation-related issues such as heavy vehicle safety, traffic management, and congestion from regional growth.
