Dr. Dana C. Christensen, Director
Dana C. Christensen is Associate Laboratory director of the Energy and Engineering Sciences Directorate of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The Directorate is the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) largest energy laboratory.
Dr. Christensen came to ORNL from Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he was the Principal Associate Laboratory Director for Threat Reduction. He has 28 years of management experience in material science, nuclear energy, fossil and renewable energy, nuclear materials management, and scientific research in support of DOE and other government agencies.
Dr. Christensen attended New Mexico State University, graduating with baccalaureate and doctoral degrees in chemical engineering. He received a master's in business administration from the University of New Mexico.
